9.10.11. The day that changed our lives forever!

For almost a year we've been planning our wedding. Every last detail was meticulously planned and it was absolutely amazing. We were honored to have Drew’s father, Rex Haymaker, as our officiant. Family tradition has always been very important to Drew and me. We incorporated many sentimental details into the wedding. I wore my mother’s veil during the ceremony and my sister’s veil during the reception. I wore the garter that my mother & sister wore. I also wore the garter that Drew caught at our friend’s wedding just months before we were engaged! The kneeling bench we used in the ceremony was needle pointed by my grandmother, Mattie Mae Ingram, and I wore the necklace and earrings that belonged to my other grandmother, Katherine Biddinger. I also wore a gold bracelet that several generations of women in my family have worn at their weddings. My very favorite detail of the entire wedding is now worn on Drew’s left hand. My family graciously allowed me to give Drew my maternal grandfather’s ring. Engraved on the inside is my grandfather’s initials and his wedding date and Drew’s initials and our wedding date… “WEI 10-24-38 DEH 9-10-11.”

Enjoy the pictures!!
